While working for Sinclair Night Merz in Adelaide, he moved from complex building services into the high voltage electrical power field, where he undertook the design management of a number of substation development projects, from design through to commissioning for SA Electricity utilities such as Electranet & ETSA Utilities.

In recent years, Oscar has extended his engineering capabilities into Project management, on large power infrastructure projects for utilities such as Electranet and Ergon Energy, and also for large private infrastructure clients who required power upgrades.
